Death, as an inherent part of the experience of life is treated in this project as the mystery enclosed not only in death itself but through the image of the mummy: death unfinished, death halfway, faces and bodies with an expression that falls in a middle point between what it was and what is not any more.

These images were taken at the Museum of Mummies in San Bernardo – José Arquímedes Castro Mausoleum, San Bernardo, Cundinamarca, Colombia.
